Genital self-mutilation (GSM) is rare and a serious condition requiring multidisciplinary treatment. Life-saving measures (heavy bleeding) should be initiated first, followed by efforts to restore anatomical continuity and functionality of the damaged structures as much as possible.

Specialists in Poland’s wound treatment have continuously improved their skills for many years. We have increasingly modern tools to support the wound therapy process. Despite this, Poland still ranks among the countries with the highest rate of amputations caused by diabetic foot syndrome and other difficult-to-heal wounds.
